Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for Islington Council to join the Equipment & Adaptations team. You will use specialist OT skills to assess residents, identify equipment and home adaptations, and provide practical, person-centred solutions that promote independence, safety and wellbeing in everyday life.

Qualifications

• Must hold HCPC registration.
• Post-qualification occupational therapy experience.
• Experience assessing and recommending equipment and adaptations.
• Experience with adults, older people and/or disabilities.
• Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and adult social care in practice.
• Ability to undertake holistic, strengths-based assessments.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage own caseload and work independently.
• Includes free DBS and compliance service.
• Payroll support provided (twice weekly) to speed up payments.

Responsibilities

Islington Council is looking for2 Occupational Therapiststo join its growing service, supporting residents to maintain independence, improve wellbeing and access the right interventions at the right time.

What will your responsibilities be?

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.

Qualifications & Experience:

We’re looking for Occupational Therapists who have:

• CurrentHCPC registration.
• Strong post-qualified Occupational Therapy experience.
• Proven experience assessing and recommending equipment and adaptations.
• Experience working with adults, older people and/or people with disabilities.
• Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Adult Social Care practice.
• Experience undertaking holistic, strengths-based assessments.
• The ability to identify practical solutions that promote independence and reduce risk.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
• The confidence to manage your own caseload and make professional
