Job summary

Salinas Valley Health Medical Center seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care per referrals. You will assess, plan, and document treatment, coordinate with CCS Case management, and supervise students, while maintaining safety standards.

The role supports patients across developmental needs, including fine motor skills and ADLs. The position requires California OT license or eligibility and a valid BLS/Healthcare Provider status.

Qualifications

• Requires California OT license or eligibility.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and plans/implements care per physician and patient goals.
• Documents treatment accurately and maintains records.
• Coordinates with CCS Case Manager for referrals.
• Provides high quality and safe patient care.
• Instructs and evaluates therapy students during affiliations.
• May assume duties of Charge Therapist.
• Adheres to hospital safety standards and departmental goals.
