Job summary

Cantex in New Braunfels, TX seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical, developmental, cognitive, or functional limitations. You will develop individualized plans to improve daily living, independence, and quality of life, working with physicians and the rehab team.

You will also supervise assistants, document progress, and educate families while adhering to standards and regulations. This full-time position offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the applicable state.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with teams.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat OT patients to improve daily living activities.
• Establish measurable goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians as required.
• Communicate findings and progress to patients, families, and physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust care plans based on progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Educate caregivers on maintenance programs and therapeutic techniques.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and safety initiatives.
