Job summary

The Occupational Therapist role at MaineHealth organizes and conducts prescribed skilled occupational therapy programs through the application of purposeful, goal-directed activity in the treatment of persons whose function is impaired by physical illness or injury, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability or the aging process to achieve the optimum functioning, to prevent disability, and to maintain health.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program required.
• License/Certifications: Current state license as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification; driver’s license if Home Care.
• Experience: One year in hospital/long-term care/home/outpatient OT preferred.
