Job summary

Bayonet Point Health Center by Harborview is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to empower residents to lead fulfilling lives. You will perform evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to promote restoration, maintenance, and independence.

You will educate residents, families, and staff on OT techniques, maintain documentation, and contribute to a compassionate, professional care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• New graduates welcome to apply; entry-level position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations to assess residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to meet residents' specific needs.
• Provide physical, cognitive, and sensory-based interventions to improve residents' abilities and function.
• Educate and support residents, families, and staff on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
