Job summary

You will educate patients and caregivers, coordinate discharge planning, and supervise assistants while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requirements include Master's in OT (preferred), OT license or temporary permit, and BLS certification; Florida background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Master's in Occupational Therapy (preferred).
• OT license required or temporary license.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans.
• Document accurately and timely using objective terminology.
• Educate patients and caregivers; provide discharge recommendations.
• Oversee COTA and rehab aides under regulations and practice standards.
• Maintain safety and productivity per department standards.
