Job summary

SSM Health Day Institute in Arnold, MO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation program. Work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team serving neurological and medically complex patients who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute inpatient care.

The role includes implementing OT services, developing treatment plans, supervising assistants, and engaging in case management to maximize patient independence. PRN hours and variable shifts offer flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality occupational therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of occupational therapy and with outpatient policies and procedures
• Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care
• Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients; enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff
