Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our care team. You will assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation, design treatment plans, and work under physician direction to help patients regain function.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, setting realistic goals, educating patients and families, supervising OT Assistants, and collaborating with other disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must have a valid OT license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity.
• Document and record patient condition; communicate progress.
• Educate patients and families in therapy methods; ensure consent and safety.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and coordinate with other disciplines.
