Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in New York. You will assess referred patients, provide direct care, and develop therapy programs with achievable goals under physician direction.

Qualified candidates have an accredited OT degree, valid license, and experience with long-term/geriatric care. You will supervise OT Assistants, document progress, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver patient-centered

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Oversee and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Experience with evaluations, progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Set realistic, achievable goals; document and record patient status.
• Educate patients and families in therapy methods.
