Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric therapy team on a flexible, as-needed basis. This position will focus exclusively on conducting evaluations and reevaluations for children in clinic and community-based settings.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensiveinitial evaluations andperiodic reevaluations for pediatric clients (3-10 years old).
  • Administer standardized assessments and clinical observations.
  • Prepareclear, timely, and thorough written evaluation reports with measurable goals and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support service planning.
  • Maintain compliance with documentation and billing requirements.
Qualifications
  • LicensedOccupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum 2 years pediatric experience; evaluation experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in a variety of pediatric assessment tools (e.g., PDMS-2, BOT-2, Sensory Profile).
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Flexible schedule; assignments based on need.
  • Evaluations may occur inDurham, Chapel Hill, and partner sites (schools, daycares, Headstart programs).
