Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care under supervision while ensuring documentation complies with state and federal requirements. You will participate in multidisciplinary clinics and care conferences to support comprehensive patient management.

The role includes patient education, staff mentorship, and involvement in in-services and quality improvement initiatives, aligned with licensure standards and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT curriculum with certification in occupational therapy or foreign trained equivalent.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California at hire.
• Current Basic Life Support.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care consistent with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Kaiser Permanente policies.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of services per state and federal requirements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, patient care rounds, and case management conferences.
• Refer patients to appropriate medical providers when care is outside scope of practice.
• Provide patient education classes or groups as requested by management.
• Conduct department in-services and participate in performance improvement projects.
