Kaiser Permanente in California is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services under supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, or Clinical Supervisor. The role emphasizes clinical instruction, mentorship, and participation in performance improvement.

You will deliver in-service training, mentor staff, and contribute to new clinical practice models while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as an occupational therapist.
• Graduate from an accredited OT program with OT certification.
• License, certification, and registration: California OT license required at hire; Basic Life Support; National Provider Identifier.

Responsabilités

• Assumes responsibilities as outlined in the OT job summary and responsibilities.
• Provides department in-service as requested by management (e.g., journal club and in-service presentations).
• Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management.
• Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed.
• Provides consultation to staff.
• May mentor staff.
• May provide input into clinical competency of staff.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• May assist in developing and implementing new clinical practice models for care delivery.
• Participates in performance improvement projects or committees.
• May monitor work of contract therapists and patient treatment in Kaiser and non-Kaiser facilities.
• Performs other duties within scope of practice.
