Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients referred by medical staff and to provide clinical guidance to a multidisciplinary therapy team. The role includes supervision of OT/COTA student education programs and collaboration across acute care services.

The ideal candidate will hold Texas OT licensure, demonstrate strong communication skills and be comfortable traveling between Texoma Medical Center facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Licensed by the State of Texas; BLS Healthcare Provider per RQI required at orientation.
• Must be able to commute between Texoma Medical Center facilities.
• Strong knowledge of advanced therapy skills and competencies.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation and treatment of patients referred by medical staff.
• Provides clinical expertise to the multidisciplinary therapy staff.
• Serves as a resource for the OT staff for clinical guidance, practice and ethics.
• Provides supervision for OT/COTA student education programs.
