Job summary

Under supervision, you will evaluate patients across adolescent to geriatric ages, plan treatments, document care, participate in meetings, delegate to support staff, maintain productive practices, and mentor Level I/II OT interns after one

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication with patients and families.
• Performs evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Understands OT theories including physical disabilities and psychosocial aspects.
• Knows isolation, sterile technique and hospital policy implications.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and psychosocial factors.
• Understands PMR/OT hospital policies and professional practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans for outcomes.
• Document patient care and attend related meetings.
• Delegate duties to support personnel and work in a team.
• Maintain productivity and participate in performance improvement.
• After one year, serve as a clinical instructor for OT Level I/II interns.
