The Clinical Director is responsible for managing and developing a regional therapy team in El Paso, Texas, ensuring high‑quality patient care, and leading the planning and coordination of all therapy functions, especially within this dedicated region. The Director also plays a key role in strategic planning, budget planning, driving initiatives that enhance the delivery of therapy services in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, and ensuring key KPI’s are achieved within this region each quarter. Through their education, experience, and leadership, the Director provides guidance and mentorship, supporting all administrative staff members and clinicians within their region, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all home‑healthcare therapy services to ensure optimal clinical processes and operational effectiveness, and provide quality services consistent with applicable government regulations.
• Carry a caseload of 5 to 12 visits per week to support the region.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the team’s department, providing leadership and support to the therapy team, other directors, and Patient Access staff.
• Oversee Regional Clinical Managers and Team Leads to ensure an effective coverage and supervision system during business hours.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and other departments to support patients/families and develop strategies related to operational needs, hiring, retention, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor patient satisfaction with therapy services and assist Regional Clinical Managers with complaints or grievances.
• Coordinate local clinical operations, including clinical orientation and training of staff, performance improvement plans, and continuing education programs.
• Stay aware of legislative changes that impact business operations and liability.
• Oversee the clinical department budgets and allocate funds accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must Have:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy.
• Minimum of two years of home‑healthcare experience (preferred).
• Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical management role (preferred).
• Extensive understanding of administrative industry aspects such as policies, processes, procedures, rules, regulations, and laws.
• State licensure approved by the Texas Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
• CPR Certification.
• Current TB testing and screening upon hire and annually thereafter.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with reliable transportation and applicable car insurance.
