Momentum Physical Therapy in San Antonio, TX is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). The role focuses on hand therapy and upper extremity rehab in an outpatient setting.

Flexible opportunities exist for those pursuing CHT certification and for experienced therapists. You will work with a collaborative team, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to patient-centered care while advancing clinical skills and career growth within a supportive clinic

Qualifications

• Current Texas Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred, or actively pursuing certification.
• 1–2 years in hand therapy/upper extremity outpatient preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, splinting, and rehab.
• Educate patients on plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with the care team.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic environment.

Momentum Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX!

What You'll Do:

Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions.

Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.

Provide therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, splinting, and functional rehabilitation.

Educate patients on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and strategies to support long-term recovery.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and patient-centered clinic environment.

What You Bring

Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred, or actively working toward certification.

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in hand therapy, upper extremity rehabilitation, or outpatient orthopedics preferred.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Commitment to continued learning, professional development, and teamwork.
