Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina.
• BLS certification is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using evaluation tools and clinical observations.
• Develop treatment plans with goals and methods to achieve them.
• Provide goal-directed OT services per current practice standards.
• Share treatment choices and outcomes with patients and care team.
• Report therapy activities and patient performance with documentation.
• Demonstrate expanding mastery of clinical concepts and techniques.
• Promote growth and development while evaluating performance.
• Comply with departmental policies and assist improvement projects.
• Authorized to access medications within scope of practice.
• Crosstrain in other settings to provide coverage as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
