Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, providing patient care interventions in an acute rehab setting. The incumbent will initiate and perform care activities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and functional outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold current OTA certification, have at least 1 year of acute rehab experience, and demonstrate excellent English communication and customer

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, incumbent independently initiates and performs patient care interventions.   • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must possess current valid Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in an acute rehab setting as a occupational therapy assistant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
