Driftwood Healthcare Center-Santa Cruz is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). We value our employees and provide a supportive work environment. This full-time role offers a salary range of $85,280 to $104,000 with PRN/on-call duties and a sign-on bonus.

Duties include administering treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, conducting tests for strength and range of motion, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. California license required for OTA.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy required.
One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
Current California OT Assistant license required.

Responsibilities

Administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
Performs tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
Assists the patient with tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge with OT/PT as needed.
