Job Details
  • Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available
  • Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility, ensuring the highest quality resident care in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine appropriate interventions based on scope of practice.
  • Implement treatment plans, following short and long-term goals established by supervising therapists.
  • Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
  • Establish therapy schedules in coordination with team members.
  • Perform therapy sessions according to established plans, ensuring proper documentation and billing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
  • Maintain compliance with CMS documentation standards daily.
Qualifications
