• Design and construct adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate daily notes, quarterly progress reports, annual reviews and discharge summaries.
• Assist in the orientation of new employees.
• Provide updates and reports as required.

Qualifications

• NJ License as Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Experience in providing occupational therapy to persons with developmental disabilities preferred

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and assist in a two-person lift of a child and/or adult
• Must be able to do frequent bending, kneeling and sitting
• Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time

Overall Description

Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, provide occupational therapy as per Individualized Educational Program. Function as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality educational and therapeutic services to students.
