Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a compassionate licensed COTA to provide skilled occupational therapy in patients' homes in Pompano Beach, FL. This PRN role supports geriatric patients to maintain independence and safely live at home.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, documenting accurately, and collaborating with physicians and the care team. Eligible candidates hold an active Florida COTA license and an associate degree in OT.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to working with geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home.
