Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a SNF/LTC contract in Mills River, NC. You will support the rehabilitation team by implementing therapy plans and supervising patient activities.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree or a certificate, current state license or in process, and CPR certification. This contract position offers competitive weekly pay and the chance to gain diverse clinical experience across settings.

Qualifications

• Must have earned either an Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community, technical or vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan.
• Assess learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers.
• Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning and monitoring progress.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Weekly Pay Range: 1138.08 - 1338.92

Job Description:

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.
• Days schedule.
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned either an Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from either a community, technical or vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant/ COTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regards to age, level of understanding and emotional status.
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and monitoring of patient's progress.
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
