Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment in a SNF/LTC setting.

You will work under an occupational therapist to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and support patient education. The role emphasizes collaboration within an interdisciplinary team, adherence to clinical reasoning, and meeting patient goals while ensuring high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community/technical/vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA or in the process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed with an occupational therapist.
• Assess learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers.
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients' goals.

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment! This is a contract position. Days schedule.

This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regards to age, level of understanding and emotional status.
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and monitoring of patient's progress.
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.

Requirements

• Must have earned either an Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from either a community, technical or vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant/ COTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA.
• Current CPR certification.
