Position Overview

We are hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant for Whites Creek Wellness & Rehab, a 122-bed facility offering short-term and long-term care. Join our in-house rehab team under excellent leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the treatment plan.
2. Assist the Occupational Therapist with tests, evaluations, and treatments.
3. Record and report patient responses and progress.
4. Maintain treatment records and documentation.
5. Collaborate with family, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
6. Assist with department care and equipment management.
7. Participate in in-service programs and meetings.
8. Engage in continuing education to maintain clinical skills.
9. Comply with regulatory and professional standards.
10. Contribute to team conferences on patient progress.
11. Follow company policies, participate in quality improvement initiatives.
12. Support understanding of reimbursement processes and resource allocation.
13. Maintain professionalism and a positive image.
14. Perform duties independently, seek supervision when needed.
15. Maintain productivity levels as expected.

Qualifications

1. Graduate from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
2. Current license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
3. Current BLS/CPR certification, or obtain during orientation, and maintain during employment.
