Maine Center for Integrated Therapy is now hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient clinic team in Rockland, Maine. Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing vocational and educational activities to restore and reinforce task performance and promote health and self-sufficiency.
• Design and adapt equipment for work and living environments, including fabricating assistive devices.
• Conduct community reintegration activities to support occupational therapy needs during physical activities.
• Provide training to individuals and document training outcomes.
• Support treatment plans by documenting and reporting status changes to the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification.
• Knowledge of neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.
• Current CPR certification.
