Job summary

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home healthcare team in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The role offers per diem scheduling with compensation of $37–$45 per visit and mileage/licensure reimbursement.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to deliver skilled OT services in patients’ homes. Ideal candidates have at least one year of clinical experience and afternoon availability, with opportunities

Responsibilities

• Providing skilled OT interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Training patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Recommending and training patients in the use of adaptive equipment under supervision.
• Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising OT.
• Collaborating with OTs, PTs, nurses, SLPs, physicians, and other care team members.
• Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation.

Your role as a Home Care Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled occupational therapy services directly in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You’ll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote functional independence, safety, and quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist

• Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Collaborating with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, nurses, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation

Requirements

Need to Have:
