Job summary

Project Renewal seeks an Occupational Therapist for Geffner Residence in Manhattan. The role will design and implement OT programming, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support residents transitioning from homelessness.

The program emphasizes aging in place and HOPE initiatives. The position requires a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy and current NYS licensure, with preference for experience in behavioral health and older adult services.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• New York State licensure or temporary licensure at hire is required.
• Experience in community-based behavioral health and working with older adults is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OT programming at Geffner House.
• Provide direct OT treatment to improve ADLs with safety and independence.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support housing stability and client wellbeing.
• Co-lead HOPE program for older adults’ activities and programming.
• Document all clinical work and participate in weekly clinical meetings.
