Job summary

SSM Health Physical Therapy in Lake Saint Louis, MO is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist. You will evaluate patients, craft and adjust treatment plans, and supervise therapy services to support functional recovery and community reintegration.

The role requires a state license or eligibility, BLS certification, and preferably acute/inpatient therapy experience. Generous benefits and professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid state license or eligibility for state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Acute or inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans per patient needs and physician direction.
• Oversees delegation and direction of all therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs to support return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.

• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities

• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid state license or eligibility for state license as a Occupational Therapist
