Job summary

Community Health Systems in Tucson is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer therapeutic interventions that help patients perform daily living and work tasks. You will set patient-centered goals, reassess progress regularly, and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical OT experience.
• Experience in hospital or rehabilitation facility preferred.
• OTR license and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and documents findings accurately.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and documented interventions.
• Provides safe and effective therapy including therapeutic exercises and adaptive equipment training.
• Regularly reassesses patient progress and updates plans.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff for coordinated care.
• Adjusts techniques to meet age- and condition-specific needs.
• Maintains clean, safe, organized treatment environments and equipment.
• Mentors new staff and OT students.
• Ensures accurate billing documentation reflects services.
