Pro Rehab, an established rehab company, is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join the Maple Lawn Senior Care team in Fulda, MN. We offer a competitive wage and a $7,500 bonus paid over 18 months, or tuition reimbursement, for new grads and experienced therapists alike.

This full-time position provides benefits eligibility, a wage range of $45–$55 per hour, and opportunities to build a full caseload in a rural setting. Location: 400 NE 7th St Fulda, MN 56131.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program with a bachelor's degree.
• Current MN OTR license required.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with/without accommodations.
• Proficient English communication, both spoken and written.]

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to understand physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide therapeutic activities, exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training.
• Educate patients and families on coping strategies, home modifications, and ways to improve quality of life.
• Monitor progress, document improvements, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at Maple Lawn Senior Care, in Fulda, MN. Maple Lawn Senior Care is in a rural environment that offers a calmer atmosphere and less stress, allowing you more opportunities to build a full caseload quickly.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position with a flexible start and end time

Wage Range: $45 - $55 / hour depending on experience.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelors degree
• Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
