Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a fast-growing, multidisciplinary practice. The role splits time between Perth Amboy and Union or Elizabeth, NJ, with caseload balancing to allow full-time hours.

You will evaluate and treat hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries, document care, and educate patients. NJ license is required; new grads welcome. Competitive benefits and a signing bonus up to $5,000 are included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

This full-time position will split time between the Perth Amboy, NJ and either Union or Elizabeth, NJ locations until the caseload in Perth Amboy allows for full-time hours.

The services we offer our patients are: Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, & Acupuncture. We treat a diverse variety of patients that includes sports-related injuries, weekend warriors, post-surgical, elderly, desk workers, and much more.

The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. This person directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. The Occupational Therapist facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology.
