Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services, LLC is seeking a full-time school-based Occupational Therapist to support students in Laconia, NH for the 2026–2027 school year.

The OT will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and provide individualized therapy to K–12 students while collaborating with teachers, families, and related services. A dedicated Service Delivery Manager will provide ongoing clinical guidance and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Experience or interest in pediatric school-based services or special education.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to K–12 students.

Your Impact as a School-Based Occupational Therapist

Students in the Lakes Region need a dedicated OT who can help them participate, learn, and thrive in their school environment.

In This Role, You'll

• Provide individualized and small-group occupational therapy services to K–12 students
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor occupational therapy goals within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support fine motor development, handwriting, sensory regulation, executive functioning, and functional independence
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and related service providers
• Recommend classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records

Most importantly, you'll help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve meaningful milestones.

What We’re Looking For

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience or interest in pediatric occupational therapy, school-based services, or special education
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• A student-centered approach and genuine passion for helping children succeed
• Availability to begin as soon as possible is strongly preferred
