Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their home health care team. In this role, you will evaluate patients and create personalized treatment plans to help them regain independence. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work from home while providing care. Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts OT license and have at least one year of relevant experience. Competitive hourly rates and supportive clinical leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Massachusetts OT license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in home health.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel within assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop customized treatment plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy treatments in clients’ homes.
• Coordinate with families and caregivers to support recovery goals.
• Coordinate with families, caregivers, and the clinical care team.
• Document care in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety practices.
• Ensure care delivery complies with policies and regulations.

We’re a team of dedicated professionals providing A Higher Standard of Care. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our home health care team. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, helping them regain independence and achieve their highest level of functional ability through personalized treatment plans.

We serve clients of all ages across Middlesex County, including the towns of Concord, Lexington, Woburn, Bedford, Burlington, and nearby communities.

This role is a Flexible, Work from Home and Per-Diem opportunity and requires travel to client's homes

• Ensure care delivery complies with BrightStar Care policies, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Massachusetts OT license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (home health experience preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and travel within assigned service area
