Whittier Hills Healthcare in Whittier, CA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, and deliver skilled therapies for geriatric clients.

This role offers a flexible schedule with work-life balance and pay of $45-$55 per hour based on experience. New grads welcome; OT license required to practice.

Qualifications

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME WHITTIER HILLS HEALTHCARE - WHITTIER, CA Whittier Hills Healthcare in Whittier, CA, is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time : Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay : $45- $55 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical • standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist license is required.
