Job summary

Soar Autism Center Inc is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join its growing multidisciplinary practice as we expand beyond ABA services into comprehensive pediatric care.

The OT will work independently, build strong family relationships, collaborate with other professionals, and help shape the development of our OT program for children and families across multiple areas of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in good standing.
• Experience with children and families; pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized OT evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, ADLs, self-regulation, and more.
• Work independently with high clinical standards.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and care team.
• Coordinate with ABA professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Document timely and accurate clinical notes.
• Support growth of the OT program and service development.
• Identify opportunities to improve services for clients and families.
• Maintain a family-centered, multidisciplinary environment.

We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and independent Occupational Therapist to join our growing organization as we expand beyond ABA services into a multidisciplinary practice serving children and families across multiple areas of care and support.

This is an exciting opportunity for an OT who wants more than a traditional clinical position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, developing relationships with families, collaborating with other professionals, and helping shape the growth of our occupational therapy program.

About the Opportunity

SOAR Autism Center is a tight-knit organization has established a strong foundation providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families. As we grow, we are expanding our model to offer multiple complementary services under one organization, creating a more comprehensive experience for the clients and families we serve.

The Occupational Therapist will play an important role in helping us build and develop this new service area.

This position offers the opportunity to have a meaningful voice in the development of OT services, clinical processes, family programming, and collaboration across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment services to pediatric clients.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans based on each client's individual needs and goals.
• Address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living, functional skills, visual-motor integration, self-regulation, and participation in daily routines.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of clinical care and professionalism.
• Establish strong, collaborative relationships with clients, parents, caregivers, and other members of the care team.
• Collaborate with ABA professionals and other service providers to support consistent, coordinated care.
• Communicate treatment recommendations and progress with families in a clear and supportive manner.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in the development and growth of the organization's OT program.
• Help identify opportunities to improve services, resources, and programming for clients and families.
• Contribute to a positive, family-centered, multidisciplinary environment.
