Job summary

Questar III BOCES is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to support our special education students. The role focuses on maximizing independence and living skills within the school setting and delivering OT services aligned with each student’s IEP.

About the Job

Questar III BOCES announces a full-time Occupational Therapist position to support Questar III special education students.

The Occupational Therapist position will provide assistance to students using strategies that maximize independence and learning in the school environment and help develop living skills. This position will provide Occupational Therapy services in accordance with student IEP's.

Requirements:

• Current NYS Certified Occupational Therapy licensure/certification required (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) will also be considered).
• Preferred applicants will have experience working with special education students in an education setting.
