Job summary

Samaritan Home Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver age-appropriate therapy and support for patients. The role requires NYS licensure, BLS, and completion of student internships during OT training.

The OT will assess and treat individuals across all age groups, applying developmentally appropriate strategies and collaborating with a care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

Location: Samaritan Home Health Department: 08.6994 SHH HOME HEALTH Pay Range: $33.44 - $55.17 Care for our community, and your career.

Graduation from a Occupational Therapy education program, with a minimum of a BS in Occupational Therapy. Successful completion of all Occupational Therapy student internships.

Minimum Experience Requirement: Demonstrates ability to effectively interact with all age groups to which service is provided. Excellent interpersonal communication and public relations skills.. Must have an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s / resident’s / registrant’s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.

New York State licensure and registration or eligible.

BLS certification required at time of hire, or within 3 months of hire date.
