Occupational Therapist (OT) – PRN / Part-Time | Assisted Living Facility

Location: Ransomville, NY

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) on a PRN or part‑time basis to serve residents at an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) and in the community in Ransomville, NY. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence in daily living activities.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions, including ADL/IADL training, cognitive rehabilitation, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support functional independence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active OT license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain).
• NBCOT certification (required).
• Experience in geriatric, ALF, or long‑term care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with a self‑directed schedule.

Schedule & Compensation:

• PRN or part‑time hours — flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.
• Competitive per‑visit or hourly rate (commensurate with experience).
• Local travel within the Ransomville, NY area.
