RCM Healthcare Services seeks an Occupational Therapist to support two elementary schools in Rensselaer County, NY. The contract role is four days per week, in-person collaboration with teachers and Related Services staff to address student needs.

Responsibilities include delivering in-person OT services, maintaining records, developing and monitoring IEP-directed treatment plans, and contributing to meetings to integrate OT strategies in the classroom.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist

Compensation Range: $54/hour - $62/hour

Location: Troy, NY & Castleton, NY (Rensselaer County)

Position Summary

An Occupational Therapist is needed to support students at two elementary schools in Rensselaer County, NYas a dedicated school-based occupational therapy professional. This contract position involves working in person and collaborating closely with other members of the elementary school staff and Related Services team to assess and address student needs. The position would be four days per week with the schedule flexible to the preference of the OT. The position would be a combination of direct treatment and consultation. There are seven other OT's in district, so there is the great advantage of collaboration with other in-district OT's as needed. This is a top-rated school district with great equipment and resources. Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift:

• Shift details: 8:30am - 3:30pm, 4 days per week
• Hours per week: 32.5hours per week
• Contract length: October 19, 2026 to June25, 2027

Key Duties

• Deliver in-person OT services, focusing on supporting and empowering students to achieve educational and developmental goals.
• Maintain accurate records on all children assigned to the program.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized direct treatment plans.
• Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment.
• Adjust interventions and supports throughout theacademic year.

Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

• Must hold an active New YorkOccupationalTherapist license

Experience

• Previous experience in school settings or working with children is preferred.
