Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our home care team in Florida. You will create a customized schedule, visit patients in their homes, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing assessments, developing and implementing a Plan of Care, and providing OT interventions according to physician orders and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current Florida OT License
• 2 years of experience as a physical therapist
• Provide proof of CPR certification
• Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office
• Flexible schedule as needed

• Develops the Plan of Care/Treatment including goals, interventions, and service intensity, frequency, and duration
• Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points
• Provides interventions and treatment following the physician-certified plan of care and occupational therapy standards of practice

Responsibilities:

• Carries a patient census of 1-3clients, as your schedule allows
• Evaluatethe level of patient function and performance and equipment needs
• Develop the Plan of Care/Treatment including long/short-term treatment goals, interventions, and the intensity, frequency, and duration of services
• Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points
• Provides interventions and treatment following the physician-certified plan of care and occupational therapy professional standards of practice

Requirements:

• Current Florida OT License
• 2 -years of experience as a physical therapist
• Provide proof of current CPR certification
• Able to effectively deal with changes based on patient needs and scheduling
• Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office
• Able to work a flexible schedule as needed
• Perform physical activity that may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to50 lbs., and physically stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and climbing stairs
