Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver acute care OT services to in-patients in the hospital, swing bed and SNF settings.

The role requires evaluating and treating patients, planning care aligned with OT standards, and collaborating with the care team. Wisconsin OT license and CPR/BLS are required; Monday–Friday day shifts with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin OT license required.
• CPR certification or eligibility within 90 days of hire.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy to acute care patients. Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards, considering the needs of the patient as it pertains to the age and diagnosis of the patient. This is an in-patient position to include acute hospital, swing bed, and SNF settings with a wide variety of diagnoses and patient positions.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices is normally acquired through a minimum of a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist beneficial.
• Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license required.
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
