Job summary

Rush Kids Pediatric Therapy in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join a supportive, collaborative team focused on helping children thrive.

You’ll assess and treat young clients with diverse needs and work closely with other therapists to deliver integrated care. You will design individualized treatment plans, set goals with the referring physician, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliant documentation while growing your clinical skills in a vibrant

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary pediatric setting.
  • Strong communication with families and team members.
  • Ability to set and adjust treatment goals with supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric clients with diverse diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with therapists and BCBAs to coordinate care.
  • Develop objective patient goals with referring physicians.
  • Provide individualized treatment plans and documentation.
  • Supervise and delegate OT care within state guidelines.

Schedule: $70,000 - $82,000 annually, based on years of experience


Compensation: $10,000 Bonus and Student Debt Benefit Program

Our therapists evaluate and treat a diverse pediatric population with diagnoses including sensory processing challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, neurological and genetic conditions, feeding disorders, visual-motor deficits, and more.

  • Leadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.

  • Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.

  • Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

  • Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy

  • State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)

  • CPR certification

  • Valid state driver’s license
