Job summary

Northeast Center for Youth & Families (NCYF) is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to work in our Residential Group Homes, providing direct services to at‑risk youth. The OT will implement individualized treatment plans, teach ADLs, and help youth develop social and living skills while maintaining professional boundaries.

Candidates should have a Master’s level OT license preferred, complete required trainings (CPI, CPR, First Aid), and pass CORI/DCF and driving checks.

Qualifications

• Master’s level OT license preferred.
• Complete trainings once hired: CPI, CPR, First Aid.
• CORI & DCF background checks approved.
• Approved driving background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Lead and model activities of daily living.
• Teach and role‑model age‑appropriate social and living skills.
• Provide structure and support routines.
• Support the treatment philosophy of the program.
• Complete home‑making tasks.
• Organize and inventory supplies.
• Prepare meals, clean, and perform other duties as needed.

Occupational Therapist

NCYF seeks a full‑time Occupational Therapist to work in our Residential Group Homes directly serving at‑risk youth. The role requires a high level of initiative, effective communication skills, and the ability to maintain proper boundaries.
