Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric OT services and collaborate with families and professionals.

You will follow the IFSP goals, coach families on intervention strategies, and work in homes, daycares, or other community settings with a flexible schedule and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• PA OT license required.
• Experience in Early Intervention or equivalent.
• Pediatric OT experience.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow the IFSP and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in home and community settings
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• PA Occupational Therapy (OT) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
• Home-Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
