Job summary

Brave Wings Therapy in Sparta, NJ is seeking a positive, creative and driven Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team. We offer a collaborative culture, work-life balance, growth opportunities, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO and holidays.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of pediatric experience, NJ OT license (OTR), and experience with ASD and DIR/Floortime.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working with ASD population.
• 3 years of pediatric experience.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in New Jersey (OTR).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on infants, children, and adolescents.
• Develop Treatment Plans with short and long term goals.
• Plan and provide individual and/or group therapy according to the individual needs and goals.
• Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into a client's daily living environment.
• Make appropriate referrals for additional services.
• Supervise other Occupational Therapists and/or COTAs, graduate students, and volunteers, as assigned.
• Participate in in-service training and/or parent education programs as appropriate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working with ASD population.
• At least 1 year experience with the DIR/Floortime approach and designing sensory diets.
• Occupational Therapist License in New Jersey/OTR.
• 3 years of Pediatric experience.

Compensation

• This is a Full-Time position, compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
