Performance Pediatrics LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Lafayette, LA. You will meet with multiple patients daily, assess their therapy needs, and craft customized, comprehensive treatment plans while coordinating follow-up care with the patient’s health team.

The ideal candidate demonstrates compassionate care, strong communication, and the ability to manage diverse cases with attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications

• Must hold the state license for occupational therapy.
• NJ school certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from diverse backgrounds and discuss health concerns and therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient.
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient to meet mobility goals.
• Work closely with care team to provide follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient therapy and progress.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! As an Occupational Therapist, you will be meeting with several patients in a day, discussing their treatment needs and ultimate goals, and crafting customized, comprehensive therapy plans for them. You will also work closely with other doctors or members of their health team to arrange follow-up care, help educate patients on lifestyle changes they may need, and provide a positive, affirming presence in their lives. The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling multiple different cases at a time.
