Job description

We are a small, therapist owned clinic located in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. Our collaborative, family-centered clinic offers a warm, fun atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a compassionate pediatric occupational therapist to evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized therapy that improves children’s ability to participate in their activities of daily life. The therapist will perform assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, document progress, and work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support each child’s goals.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Development and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and modify plans as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide a supportive, encouraging environment that prioritizes the child’s experience and family involvement.
• Complete accurate medical and clinical documentation, manage electronic health records (EHR), and communicate progress and recommendations.

Schedule

• Clinic open Monday-Saturday.
• Therapists set their own days/hours. Appointment scheduling is based on mutual availability of patient and clinician.
• Minimum of 12 hours per week. Flexibility to schedule for additional hours if interested.

Compensation

• 1099 contractor position
• Hourly pay, with minimum set hours paid per week. Pay based on clinician qualifications.
• Potential to transition to full-time hourly or salaried employment as the practice expands.
