PureHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered OT services in a post-acute setting. The role requires evaluation, treatment planning, and supervision of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants within regulatory scope.
Expect to work with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing education. Responsibilities include documenting assessments, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while maintaining productivity standards and HIPAA compliance.
To provide occupational therapy services in complies with laws and regulations applicable to this position and act in accordance with PureHealth’s Corporate Compliance Program. The Occupational Therapist is to perform patient care tasks under minimal supervision with advanced skills in clinical reasoning, problem-solving and treatment interventions. Evaluate and treats patients, as well as provide direction and supervision of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants as indicated within the Texas licensing Board and American Occupational Therapy Association scope of practice.

This job operates in a post-acute setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. Team member is expected to adhere to facility’s no-smoking policy.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds.
This is a position in a post-acute setting that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Weekend and holiday shifts will be required.

Graduate of an accredited therapy program
Valid State OT License
A minimum one (1) year of related experience
