Shriners Portland is looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist to join the team!**Key Responsibilities:*** Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as mentoring and providing education to students and other professionals.* Supports the ongoing development and improvement of the department through participation in special projects, performance improvement and facility committees.* Responsible for professional growth and development through ongoing education and research in alignment with hospital’s patient care and strategic direction.* Responsible for maintaining current knowledge in changes related to scope of practice, coding/billing practices, compliant documentation and any other knowledge related to the compliant practice in a revenue cycle environment.* Demonstrates competency in the examination of the patient to include history and systems review, selection and administration of specific tests and measures to obtain clinical data.* Provides timely monitoring of the response to intervention and makes necessary modifications.
